A gold medallist in Textile Engineering from VJTI Mumbai and a post graduate in Management Studies from NMIMS, I bring along over 2 decades of experience in garment manufacturing, textile mills, product assortment development, sourcing and supply chain, marketing/sales & distribution, retail, Ecommerce. My association with some of the finest brands like Raymond, Madura, Reliance, and several well-known international brands along with my experiences as an entrepreneur running a garment export house, allows me to bring in perspectives beyond the ordinary. I abide by ‘Kaizen’(Continuous Improvement) in letter and spirit.

A few of my attainments include ratifying organizations for social compliance as well as securing ISO accreditation and reducing sourcing cost to the tune of 5% - 15% in addition to improving top line growth in the range of 10%-35%. Diversifying a trade brand from traditional market to Online platform as well as launching Exclusive Brand Outlets has been a recently acquired strong suit in Retail.

Empathy being my forte, I have been instrumental in restructuring organizations and installing strong Performance Management Systems with appraisals quantifiable against the Key Performance Indicators based on a 360 degree feedback mechanism rather than the ad hoc process depending on the whims and fancies of the superiors. Succession planning has also been an integral part of my contribution in terms of Human Resources arena.

 

My experience in the domestic fashion industry as well as exports; from a buyer’s side as well as the supplier’s flank, accords me a distinctive holistic perspective of the business issues my clients are facing. I am at ease working with clients who are family managed private entities as well as structured large corporations. Being involved with my clients in execution of various projects ensure that certain uniqueness is available to my clients besides assurance of value add from my services.
